If you create some spectacular creations, or want to stream, even play with higher FPS in your games, and you have the money to back such a platform, then this may be your new home.
What processors are available?
First, let's talk about specifications, the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X Processor has 8 cores, 16 threads, a base clock of 3.8GHZ, and a Max Boost Clock of 4GHZ, and can be overclocked. It has a combined total of 20MB of cache.
Then we have the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X Processor, with 12 cores, 24 threads, a base clock of 3.5GHZ, and a max boost clock of 4GHZ, and again, can be overclocked. It has a combined total of 38MB of cache.
And lastly, we have the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X Processor with its 16 cores, 32 threads, 3.4GHZ base clock and max boost clock of 4GHZ and again is overclockable. It has a combined total of 40MB of cache.
All these processors have a max temperature of 68C, so you'll need a good solution cooling. They, also, have as much as 64 PCIE lanes available for your graphics cards, and a multitude of other peripherals like NVMe devices. Meaning you can truly make your build your own. It, also, supports Quad Channel memory for your DDR4 Ram.
What platform do these processors require?
Now, the mainboard platform you need is a TR4 socketed platform called X399. It supports Quad Channel Memory, 66 PCIE Gen 3.0 lanes, 8 PCIE GEN 2 Lanes, Multi-GPU support for either SLI or Crossfire, 2 Native USB 3.1 Gen 2 Ports, 14 native USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, up to 6 native USB 2.0 Ports, up to 12 SATA Ports, SATA Raid 0, 1, 10, Overclocking and more.
