Apple has released yet a new operating system for their iPhones, and provided you have an iPhone 5 or greater, you, too, can take advantage of many new features. I take a look at 5 new features that will make everyone, even those who still have an iPhone 5, happy.

Low Power Mode

Accessible under battery, in settings, low power mode allows iPhones to temporarily reduce power consumption by deactivating mail fetch, background app refresh, automatic downloads, and some visual effects. Low Power Mode remains enabled until your iPhones next full charge.

Siri Suggestions for contacts, news, apps

Swipe to the search screen, and you will be presented with suggested contacts and news from Siri based from your most commonly communicated with contacts, and news related to you and your local surrounds. Siri will, also, go as far as suggesting applications you may even want to use for things you're always looking for.

Find Friends

Now part of the applications installed in your application, this allows friends, to find you, or vice versa. Perfect for going out, or being creepy. You were able to download this application before, but because it is now part of every iPhone, we are all more likely to use it.

Improved Security

For those who use a passcode instead of touch ID, the pin code now supports six digits instead of just four, of if you prefer, a million combinations making anyone else's life harder. Perfect for keeping thieves, and other types from accessing your phone or iPad without your explicit permission.

Migration from Android

With the application Move, you can wirelessly and securely transfer your contacts, message history, photos, videos, bookmarks, mail accounts, and calendar. It goes a step further and adds applications you use to your application wish list that makes it easier to get applications you already use in the Android environment available under iOS9.
